Jonathan drops Stella Oduah, Orubebe, others as Ministers

President Goodluck Jonathan has accepted the resignation of four cabinet ministers, namely Minister of Aviation, Stella Oduah; Minister of Police Affairs, Caleb Olubolade; Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godsday Orubebe; and Minister of State for Finance, Yerima Ngama.
According to reports, they were advised to resign or face the humiliation of being sacked.
There have been repeated calls for Oduah to be removed, ever since she was indicted by both the House of Representatives and a presidential committee, for using her influence to purchase two exotic armoured cars, a clear violation of the public procurement laws of the country.
It is also alleged that she forged her academic qualifications, after she claimed to hold a honorary doctorate from a US University that does not exist.
